Hi, do you have any friends who upgrade their operating system to Windows 10? After upgrading to Windows 10, I have received some questions about some applications that can not run after upgrading to Windows 10. After some users upgrade to Windows 10, previously installed software cannot run and forces users to reinstall the software.
Today I am writing this article to help people find a way to fix the problem that the software cannot run and work after upgrading to Windows 10. I will take AutoCad as an example, because AutoCad also cannot run and work after upgrade to Windows 10.

1. Fix AutoCad Error Not Working On Windows 10
The first thing when people encounter this error is that everyone needs to carefully consider the following conditions before proceeding to fix the error:
- When you upgrade Windows 10, the .NET FrameWork that comes with it is .NET 4.6
- Check if .NET FrameWork is installed and activated by going to Control Panel> Programs & Features> Turn Windows features On or Off.
If your .NetFrameWork is corrupted and not displayed, you can use the .NET FrameWork Repair Tool to fix the error.
- If the above two methods do not work, then I have one more trick, which is to deceive AutoCad to misidentify the .NetFrame version on the computer as version 4.5 (the autocad version is programmed to use) after :
Open Registry Editor by going to Run Type “Regedit”. then access the link: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\NET Framework Setup\NDP\v4\Client
look to the right you select “Version” you will have to change it to 4.5.0.0. If you can not change this value, then you probably need a support tool to be able to allow to change the Regestry value is RegOwnit. Then come back to correct the Version value.
Good luck !!
