There are many ways to restore system files on Windows 7, but I will guide you through the 2 most common ways that I often use to quickly fix the error.
1. Use software
Step 1: Download and install Wondershare Data Recovery or Wondershare Data Recovery for Mac. (is a data recovery program that allows you to recover corrupted photos, videos as well as document files. With it, you can restore corrupted files that have been emptied or deleted from the recycle bin or that have been lost due to a virus attack, system crash or partition format. Currently Wondershare Data Recovery can recover corrupted photos, videos, music, document files, and so on.)
Step 2: Choose recovery mode to recover corrupt files, Install and launch Wondershare Data Recovery on your computer, you will see an interface like below screen. Here you are provided with 3 recovery modes. To recover corrupt files, here we try “Partition Recovery” together.
Step 2: Select the partition to scan
In this step you just need to select the partition that your corrupt file placed in and click “Start” to scan. Note: If you are going to recover corrupt files from external storage device, connect your device to the computer and select the hard disk.
Step 3: Restorable and starts restore
After scanning, all found files will be listed in the directory or their original path. You can preview some files, such as images. You can also check whether found file is what you want to recover or not with the original.
You can then choose the files you want to recover and click “Recover” to save them back to your computer. Note that it is necessary to choose a different path to save, if the old path is left, there is an error
2. Recovery from the system
This way is simpler.
Step1: Click the Start => When Command Prompt => Right click on it and select Run as Administrator
Step2: Now type the command SFC /SCANNOW and press enter.
Wait a bit for them to process is usually 15 -20p depending on the computer and the amount of files in the machine more or less. Once it is done, you can view the results. For instance, you can know what files were corrupted and fixed by the SFC command.
3. Repair Windows:
